Kesseböhmer Beschlagsysteme GmbH & Co. KG in Bad Essen has now been awarded the IHK quality seal "TOP-Apprenticeship" for the third time since 2015. HR Manager Nils Pehmöller, Lena Thys, Head of Apprenticeship - Marketing & Strategy, Holger Meyer, Head of Industrial-Technical Apprenticeship, and the two trainers Kira Tegeler and Daniel Enns received the certificate from Juliane Hünefeld-Linkermann, IHK Head of Training and Further Education.
"We gain the majority of our young skilled workers through our in-house Apprenticeship. That is why it is very important for us to maintain a consistently high quality of training. We are delighted that we have been awarded the IHK seal of quality for more than nine years and that it has now been extended for another three years," explained Nils Pehmöller. The Bad Essen-based company is heavily involved in training marketing. Its cooperation with regional schools and its presence at training fairs and on social media are exemplary. An internal trade fair team and a social media content team were set up among the trainees.
"The quality seal supports companies in addressing young people, their parents and teachers," explained Juliane Hünefeld-Linkermann. The cooperation with schools also benefits not only the future trainees, but all young people involved in their career orientation.
The entire training process at Kesseböhmer is structured and great importance is attached to the development of personal and social skills. The company strengthens social interaction through team training, courses and trainee events organized by the trainees. "The certification process is not a sure-fire success," added Hünefeld-Linkermann. "Nine years as a TOP training company - that's three generations of trainees. In the audit procedures, the company had to prove the high quality of its training again and again under changing conditions," said the division manager.
