On August 1, 37 trainees, dual students and annual interns started their careers at Kesseböhmer in the Dahlinghausen, Bohmte and Lübeck plants.
For the Bohmte and Bad Essen sites, the company organized a cross-professional induction week together with the sprout trainee academy, a programme run by axth GmbH from Georgsmarienhütte. In addition to team training, a company tour and numerous initial training sessions, the trainees also had their own communication seminar for the first time, where they worked together on topics such as appreciative feedback and a coherent self-presentation. "The induction week was very creatively designed, and I liked the company tour on the second day the best, as I was able to gain a lot of impressions about processes and get to know other employees," said Charlotte Linkemeyer, dual business administration student, praising the organization of the induction week.
Training also starts at the Lübeck site
The Kesseböhmer Group was also pleased to welcome ten new trainees in six different apprenticeships at the Lübeck site. On the first day, the program included a tour of the production facility and an opportunity for the future industrial clerks, warehouse specialists, wood mechanics, IT specialists, machine and plant operators and metal technology specialists to get to know each other.
Application start for 2025
Kesseböhmer will continue to rely on skilled workers from its own ranks in the future. The application phase for the start of training in 2025 began at the end of July. Apprenticeship is the first time that Kesseböhmer is offering this apprenticeship as a production technologist (m/f/d) at its Bad Essen site. In this modern and versatile apprenticeship, the optimization and coordination of production processes in an industrial company play an important role. In addition to the numerous industrial-technical and commercial apprenticeships, the company also offers a dual course of study to prepare apprentices for working life. The courses include business administration, mechanical engineering and business informatics.
