For the second time after 2015, Kesseböhmer Beschlagsysteme GmbH & Co. KG, Bad Essen, has received the "Top Training" quality seal from the Osnabrück - Emsland - Grafschaft Bentheim Chamber of Industry and Commerce. In this way, the chambers of industry and commerce in Lower Saxony recognize the commitment of those responsible for training in attracting the next generation of skilled workers. The seal also highlights the high quality of the training programs offered.
As one of the largest training companies in the region, Kesseböhmer traditionally attaches great importance to training. "We gain the majority of our young workers through our in-company training," explains Managing Director Gerd Langenberg. However, the commitment starts much earlier. For example, Kesseböhmer cooperates with schools in order to talk to young people, their parents and teachers at an early stage and to support everyone in their career orientation.
Angelina Janz, commercial training manager at Kesseböhmer, emphasizes that the quality of the training also includes a structured start to the career, in which initial information is provided before the training begins and the trainees get to know each other. "Right from the start, the trainees should see themselves as part of Kesseböhmer and as a team," adds HR manager Nils Pehmöller.
Kesseböhmer was now able to convincingly demonstrate its extensive commitment to training in the IHK certification process with an extensive questionnaire and detailed audit. It ranges from specialist applicant days and training sessions to the organization of an annual "Evening of Training", various trial days and internships, and the "Management Information Game".
At the Bad Essen and Bohmte sites, a total of 155 young people are currently completing their training at Kesseböhmer. They have the best chances of being accepted into the company, and benefit from a varied program, intensive support and exam preparation, as well as benefits above the general pay scale.
The company offers five dual study programs and 13 apprenticeships. All information is available at www.kb-azubi.de.
