Future orientation and quality as an employer - for this, companies are awarded the "Employer of the Future" prize by the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIND). The initiative is supported by former German Economics Minister Brigitte Zypries.
Award within the framework of the Entrepreneur Day
The company Kesseböhmer as well is pleased to be allowed to carry the seal "Employer of the future", which was granted as part of of the DUP Entrepreneur Day in Essen on 07.09.2023. "As a responsible and innovative family business, we are very pleased about the award," explains Nils Sieksmeyer, personnel marketing officer at the Kesseböhmer Group, "but we will not rest on the laurels of the award, and instead work far and wide to position ourselves as an employer fit for the future."
Clear digitization strategy and attractive working conditions
Kesseböhmer was honored for its clear digitalization strategy, its pursuit of sustainability goals and its attractive working conditions. In addition to the former German Federal Minister of Economics Brigitte Zypries, numerous big names from politics and business, such as Martin Kind and Hans-Joachim Watzke, were among the congratulators. In addition to the criteria already mentioned, flat hierarchies, flexible compensation models, employee benefits, and individual training and development opportunities were included in a holistic picture that was drawn up on the basis of an evaluation matrix developed with the help of input from experts from business and academia.
