Kesseböhmer looks back on the SICAM 2022 with satisfaction. The manufacturer of furniture hardware systems had taken part in the international trade fair in Pordenone, Italy, for the first time again after a three-year break due to covid and expressed its pleasure at the personal reunion in the trade fair motto "Good to see you". The open and transparent booth concept attracted numerous visitors who appreciated the new and continuously developed products with great interest.
A passion for detail and a flair for high-quality design in the inner workings of furniture - this is what visitors of the SICAM were able to experience at Kesseböhmer. With the convenience and miniaturization of the hardware systems, the manufacturer is increasingly entering other living areas in addition to the kitchen. Thus, "Conero", a hardware family for demanding planners, was presented, with which the private dressing room can be adapted functionally to the wishes of the user. The flexible concept works with design-oriented equipment elements for the stylish implementation of customized planning situations.
The highlight in the program are the clothes lifts with their movement properties, which - for a load of up to twelve kilograms - are LGA-certified. The "Conero Top" clothes lift offers an additional storage area and thus represents a novelty on the market.
Very good visitor feedback was received for both the "TANDEM Solo" and "CONVOY Lavido" larder unit fittings adapted to 750 cabinet widths, for which Kesseböhmer showed elegant equipment variants with wooden shelves, black glass frame fronts or illuminated interiors at SICAM, and the new minimalist "FREEspace forte" flap fitting, which moves particularly heavy fronts weighing up to 15 kilograms at a front height of 600 mm.
Kesseböhmer demonstrated how the utility room can be equipped in a functionally complete and consistently high-quality manner with the modular "K-Line" program. The "K-Line side" door shelf creates a retrofittable solution for tall and base cabinets.
The presentation of the sustainable material "OrganiQ", with which Holzwerk Rockenhausen is one of the 35 finalists of the German Sustainability Award for Design 2023, enriched with light and striking color combinations, turned out to be a point of attraction at SICAM. In addition to solid wood, it provides the basis for implementing high-quality and customized interior fittings for drawers and pull-outs at comparatively low cost. Holzwerk Rockenhausen is thus laying the foundation for building furniture sustainably and economically.
"We were very pleased to participate in a trade fair again and to be close to the people," summed up Kesseböhmer Managing Director Burkhard Schreiber. He said it was important to finally be able to show the products live again in order to make the comfort of movement and materiality tangible. "We had very good discussions with many international customers and sales partners."
